OBJECTIVE & GOAL
We aimed to create a logo representing Binford's core values and a social media brand language highlighting the innovative technology driving their military drone manufacturing.
LOGO
From our research, we discovered that symbols like swords and shields resonate strongly with security firms. Hence, we incorporated these elements into our logo design. However, we utilised bold lines and negative space to infuse a modern touch, steering away from the traditional medieval aesthetic. Employing disconnected lines throughout the structure, we aimed for a sleek and angular appearance. To tailor it to the drone industry, we reimagined the sword's guard cross to resemble a drone's propellers, ensuring relevance to our specific domain.
BRAND COLOURS
For Binford's visual identity, we strategically selected an aerial-inspired palette to echo the essence of drone technology. The primary colours of medium aquamarine and phthalo green offer a vibrant, energetic feel, symbolising innovation and growth. Cadmium green and eerie black serve as secondary colours, grounding the scheme with depth and sophistication. This dynamic combination reinforces Binford's cutting-edge appeal and establishes a solid and memorable brand presence.
