OBJECTIVE
The website redesign was not just a cosmetic makeover, but a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing user experience, modernising visual appeal, optimising performance, ensuring device responsiveness, and implementing an easy-to-use content management system (CMS). This project required a meticulous approach to organise detailed content effectively while maintaining brand consistency and optimal performance.
APPROACH
The redesign focused on incorporating the latest technologies to create an intuitive, responsive site that could handle the complex information architecture of the aviation sector. By implementing a robust CMS, the new site facilitated cost-effectiveness through easy updates and ensured long-term maintenance. The design process emphasised aligning with modern trends while preserving brand integrity, ensuring the final product was visually appealing and functionally superior.
RESEARCH
We initiated the project by interviewing stakeholders to gather insights into their needs and preferences. This step was crucial for aligning the redesign with BytzSoft’s corporate objectives. Additionally, we conducted a thorough analysis of competitor websites, identifying industry standards and best practices, which provided us with a competitive edge.
INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
Using Flowmapp, we meticulously planned the website’s structure and navigation. This involved creating a detailed sitemap to ensure all content was logically organised and easily accessible, addressing the complexity of aviation industry information.
WIREFRAMES & HI-FIDELITY DESIGN
Wireframes were developed in Figma to outline the layout and structure of crucial pages. We then created high-fidelity mockups in Figma, incorporating BytzSoft’s branding elements and focusing on a clean, modern aesthetic with a professional tone. This approach ensured a visually appealing and brand-consistent design.
DEVELOPMENT & USER TESTING
The website was developed using WordPress, which was selected for its scalability and user-friendly management features. We implemented responsive design techniques to guarantee optimal performance across all devices, catering to diverse user needs and ensuring seamless accessibility. Usability testing was conducted to verify that the website’s navigation, forms, and interactive elements functioned correctly. This step was vital for identifying and resolving issues, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.
