Pioneering the future of cloud computing, Mimik delivers a decentralised cloud software platform that extends the power of central cloud to the edge. This technology allows computing devices to act as edge cloud servers and supports the development of serverless microservices in JavaScript.
OBJECTIVE
UNIK's website redesign aimed to establish a clear and intuitive navigation structure, create a modern and visually appealing design and optimise for speed and accessibility. Considering the technical nature of the brand's offerings, we aimed to ensure the content was logically structured for easy comprehension while creating an engaging user experience.
APPROACH
The website redesign was a meticulous 1.5-year process focused on aligning with the company's vision through regular meetings, iterative design, and stringent quality assurance. We ensured the content was accessible, visually appealing, and reflected Mimik's innovative brand identity. Effective collaboration and communication were vital, with continuous feedback loops keeping everyone aligned.
USER RESEARCH
We prioritised in-depth user research by conducting extensive surveys and interviews with target users to understand their needs and expectations. Furthering our understanding of the industry, we analysed competitor websites to gather insights and identify best practices. To streamline the research process for all project stakeholders, we leveraged accessible platforms like Miro.
INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
We created a detailed sitemap to ensure all content was logically organised and easily accessible. Our focus was on developing a clear and intuitive navigation system to enhance user experience and ease of access to information.
WIREFRAMES & VISUAL DESIGN
We visualised the layout and structure of critical pages through detailed wireframes on Figma, ensuring functionality and usability. For the visual design, we designed high-fidelity mockups, incorporating Mimik's branding elements with a clean, modern aesthetic. Custom graphics were developed to enhance visual appeal and effectively convey complex concepts tailored to the futuristic design vision. This ensured the visual design reflected Mimik's innovative and tech-savvy brand identity.
DEVELOPMENT
Throughout the development process, we implemented a responsive design strategy on WordPress to guarantee excellent user experiences across various devices, including desktops and mobile phones.

Finally, testing was conducted to identify issues and gather feedback on the design and functionality from potential users. Based on this feedback, iterative improvements were made to refine the user experience and ensure the website met user needs and expectations.
